Castle Hill Nissan

I was invited to a VIP night by Daniel, discussed to him over the phone that it was very early on in the process of us looking for a new car as our Corolla (1 day prior to this call) is up for some major mechanical work. He acknowledged this and still invited us along to see what we could do. Having had many good customer experiences there previously with my Navara for servicing, my wife and I decided to go. We met Daniel, started a conversation and stated where we were at with our car situation, not to buy one on the spot but to start the process & build rapport with Daniel for a future sale. Daniel seemed put off by this, advised to us that we were best to come back at a later day when he 'has more time' due to the fact weren't buying a car then and there.

The receptionist Zina deserves a great review, she is kind, respectful and genuinely helpful. She booked my Car in for service and Tint and was very prompt and made sure as a customer I was genuinely Satisfied. Thank you for your great service :) also just wanted to state when writing a review it’s never alright to fully name and shame people, it’s a breach of privacy as seen above. reviews are not suppose to be harassment.

Horrible experience trying to book a service appointment. I booked an appointment online and two days later a woman by the name 'Zina Bastide' calls me and cancels the appointment saying that they are fully booked and that the first available slot is a week from the initial date that I had already booked through the system. The woman was very rude on the phone, did not want to explain or give alternative solutions saying "this is how it is".. and "I don't know anything about how the system works". Very disappointing to have such a person put as a customer interaction point knowing that the dealer and the service provided is very good and professional. However, this point of contact person is a complete disappointment.

Had a handshake agreement made on a car, with a fixed price, deposit made, for future arrival date. However the detail about fixed price was not included on the contract, and the sales manager pulled out of the deal when I requested it in writing. Very dishonest conduct, and intentionally misleading - the sales people should have principles of at least attempting to stay true to a verbal agreement . All buyers should ensure attention to detail when signing with this dealership.

My experience with Castlehill Nissan's service center was disappointing. I brought my car in to address a noise issue from the air conditioning vents. The service manager initially assured me he'd take care of the problem, even if it wasn't covered by warranty. However, after leaving my car for the day, I was informed that they couldn't proceed without company approval, stating my car was out of warranty. This contradicted the earlier promise. Additionally, the courtesy drop-off driver's intrusive questioning about personal information left me uneasy. Castlehill Nissan needs to improve communication and uphold their commitments to customer service.

What a disappointing service experience. My Navara started to make a noise , luckily I had a service booked into 2 days later . I have just received a phone call from servicing saying my Harmonic Balancer is damaged and needs replacing. It is covered under warranty but the part is unavailable for 2-4 weeks couldn’t give a time frame as it’s coming from Japan. Understandably, my husband asked if it was ok to drive . The response - I can’t really tell you, might be ok, might not. Don’t drive far. I took over the phone as that is not an answer and it is my main car, that I take to work and my daughter to day care. He couldn’t give me an answer. I said if it is unsafe can you get my a hire car. He said no Nissan has been hacked or something. I asked him if head office was open he said no they are closed. I called head office - they are open. I also googled the issue - It says on every page I can see that damage /broken Harmonic Balancers -it can lead to significant engine damage and potential safety hazards. They could not give me an answer but told me I could take my car and drive it . Happy to put my daughter and myself in danger if something happens when I’m driving the car. Update - Called head office( which was open even through castle hill Nissan had said they where closed) They called the dealership and within half an hour they had found the part . When we picked up the car it had no power. The dealership said can we keep it for another day. My husband said no . They had a look and had left the cap off something. So they obviously didn’t test drive after fixing . Terrible Terrible service centre. Things like this make me not want to ever by a Nissan again. I have never had this issue with any other car brands before.
